Return & Exchange Policy — Shree Chitra / Shree Sakhi

At Shree Chitra / Shree Sakhi, we want you to be delighted with every piece of jewellery you choose. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, we offer a straightforward return & exchange process under the following terms:


1. Eligibility for Return & Exchange

  • You may request a return or exchange within 7 days from the date of delivery.

  • The item must be in unused, original condition — no signs of wear, damage, or alteration.

  • The original packaging, tags, box, certificate (if any), and accessories must be intact and included.

  • Personalized / customized / made-to-order items are non-returnable, unless there is a manufacturing defect.

  • Returns or exchanges will not be accepted if the product has been used, worn, or damaged by the customer.

  •   To ensure a smooth process in the event of damage, it is mandatory to record a full 360-degree video of the product immediately upon unboxing and receiving your order. Returns are accepted only for damaged products. 

2. How to Request a Return or Exchange

  1. Send an email to info@shreechitra.com with:

    • Your order number

    • The item name / SKU

    • Reason for return or exchange (defect, size, style, etc.)

    • Clear photos showing the item and any issue (if applicable)

  2. Our customer service team will review your request and respond within 2 business days, with approval and instructions.

  3. Once approved, pack the item securely in its original packaging (with all parts) and ship it to the address we provide.


3. Return Shipping & Costs

  • Return shipping cost is borne by the customer, unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.

  • We recommend using a trackable courier / postal service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.


4. Inspection & Processing

  • After we receive the returned item, our quality team will inspect it.

  • If everything meets the return conditions, we’ll proceed with the exchange or refund.

  • If the item is found to be used, damaged, or missing parts, we reserve the right to reject the return or apply a restocking fee.


5. Exchanges

  • If you wish to exchange, you may request a different size, design, or replacement (if available).

  • If the new item’s price is higher, you’ll be asked to pay the difference.

  • If the new item’s price is lower, we’ll refund the difference to your original payment method (after inspection).


6. Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed once the returned item passes inspection.

  • The refund is made to the original mode of payment (credit card, UPI, net banking, etc.).

  • Allow 5–10 business days from approval for the amount to reflect in your account (depending on your bank / payment provider).


7. Damaged / Defective Items

  • If the jewellery received is defective, incorrect, or damaged in transit, please inform us within 3 days of delivery.

  • Share photos of the defect / damage and the packaging condition.

  • We will arrange for a return, replacement, or refund at no extra cost to you.


8. Cancellation Before Dispatch

  • You may cancel the order any time before the item is dispatched.

  • Once the product is shipped, cancellation is not possible — you’ll need to follow the return process after you receive it.
